Curious about Boxercise? Watch the Ladies of Genesis in Action!

Boxercise Classes at Genesis consist of warming up skipping rope, followed by warm-up rounds and skill development on the heavy bags, with cardio in between heavy bag rounds. We switch it up, but most classes include ab, leg and bum excercises. We then split the class in 2, with one half going in the boxing ring to do pad-work with the trainer. The other half of the class uses this time to develop their hand-eye co-ordination (and get a great arm workout!) on the speed bags, as well as calisthenics. Then we switch places, with the other half of the class taking their turn in the ring. Sound like fun? It's hard work, no doubt, but you can burn up to 1,000 calories an hour....and we go for an hour and a half! You can see from these videos that these classes are great for all skill levels. We have everyone from competitive boxers to absolute beginners in these classes and we guarantee you will not only have a fantastic workout, but you'll have a fantastic time doing it!
